Experience, Knowledge, Execution: The Law Offices of Anthony Pinelli
In nearly four decades of legal work at the federal and local levels of criminal defense, civil corporate litigation and employment and labor law, there are few issues for which I am not prepared. I began my legal career working on misdemeanors, felonies and death penalty cases and then practiced extensively in civil litigation. Whether it is a criminal or civil matter, I put the utmost premium on fact gathering and investigation. I take every decision extremely seriously, fully investigate all documentation and interview anyone necessary in every case. I meet with all my clients, discuss the facts and the law, and put in place a plan to reach the clients' goals.
I learned the consequence of failing to undertake proper discovery or making an ill-planned decision from the moment I began working as a criminal defense attorney. This knowledge taught me to work tirelessly, and it is an approach I still follow. Regardless of case detail, I work one-on-one with my clients to fully understand their situation and their case. Once I fully understand the details and stakes I advocate strongly or methodically bargain for my clients' best interests. I continue to refine my understanding of law and refresh my skills by teaching trial practice at Loyola University Chicago School of Law where I have been an adjunct professor since 1982.
As a lawyer, I work with clients throughout the greater Chicago area and northern Illinois. My office is centrally located in downtown Chicago and within minutes of the U.S. District Court, Circuit Court of Cook County, and 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. It is convenient for administrative hearings with all state and federal agencies located in Chicago, including the National Labor Relations Board, Illinois Department of Labor and the Illinois Department of Revenue.
For 22 years I have received an AV Preeminent rating* through Martindale-Hubbell.
I have been listed as an Illinois Super Lawyer in 2010 and 2011. I have taught appellate and trial advocacy as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law School each year since 1982.
